3 years ago. Oct 5 or 6 of 2018- it snowed so hard making it obsolete to enjoy a fall hike. The snow stayed on the side of the roads and peaks for more than a week. Also, late October of 1998, massive snowfall in Banff and area that Sunshine opened its ski season I believe Oct 25- we were there. So one never knows.
