It would cost you like $9.55 + the $1 to get the two-ride regular card (with the 5% bonus). You can always find out when you get to Jamaica or Howard Beach.

They are separate, two-use cards that say "Senior" right on them, and you don't pay anything additional for the card, just the $2.70 round trip. Once you use a card twice, you throw it away.
