   Re: Rent a car from Expedia or direct from Avis etc ? Always book direct. Especially with cars in such short supply. If you show up at the Hertz counter with a Hertz reservation you will get better help if there is a problem, than if you book through a third party and have to track down Expedia in a hurry.

Instead, they have teamed up with Enterprise so they can have a presence in the country. Based on the significant number of negative reviews, they arguably chose a partner that does not offer good service.
