The summit itself is otherworldly. You'll have lots of company, since many, many tour operators bring large groups up, but if you can block them out, you'll have a wonderful time communing with nature. We started back down about 10 minutes after sunset. Again, go slowly. The star viewing at the Visitor Center is 100% worth it!
Logan Pass Star Party. 12 years ago. My family of five (kids 15, 12 & 9) are currently at Glacier. I have been planning to attend David Walburn's show at Many Glacier on Saturday. Today I learned about the Logan Pass Star Party on Saturday from 9-midnight at Logan Pass. I'm very intrigued by viewing the night sky from Logan's Pass.
