The shuttle driver will ask if there are any executive or emerald drivers on the bus and radio ahead for you. Once you get off the shuttle, there will be a rep to help with the car.
If I book a midsize SUV do I still get different SUV options to chose from, or will they assign me a vehicle? Also do I get shorter queueing time as an Emerald member, or will I have to join the non-member crowd (because with the midsize car option you can just walk up to the car and drive away, keys are inside)
Yes, Emerald Club is an exclusive membership with National that anyone can join. I'm a member and have recieved Car Rental points, Free Day coupons, and automatic upgrades, and no line waits everywhere I go. While you have to reserve a mid-size car to take advantage, essentially you're directed pass the lines to cars on reserve for Emerald Club members and you have a choice of ...

We stopped getting mustang convertibles there in favor of the awesome brand new Jeep Renegades. They have nice SUVs, dodge chargers, lots of good stuff.

This will be my first trip to Oahu using the new car rental center. I usually rent with national as i am an Emerald Club member, and enjoy being able to use the Emerald Aisle. I will have my family of four, and luggage, so I am not all that optimistic about finding something large enough to accommodate us from EA.
