    Google Map France can also be downloaded for offline use. You just won't get live traffic. Map use doesn't consume a ton of data anyway. I have an old but still kicking Garmin as well. I still use it when I drive in foreign countries. I then use Google Map as a back-up, primarily for searches.

    6. Re: Pacific Highway 1 - Google maps. 5 years ago. You can easily add waypoints to force Google maps to take the route you want, although you can only add so many, (ten I believe). Anyway you can type in the city or you can do a map search so you just put the X on Highway one and hit save.
