The first page of the website says "no hidden extras to pay- theft and damage coverage included. I am confused by this. I tried to call the 800 number and they were no help.

I rent a lot of cars and I'm a Hertz Gold club member because they are by far the best customer service. Give them a chance. Report inappropriate content.
8. Re: Hertz Rental Denver CO - Customer Service. We rented a car for our recent trip to Denver and returned it April 4th, 2013 having filled it up with gas at the station next to the airport. As so many others have posted to Trip Advisor, a week later we have a bill on our credit card for a gas charge from Hertz.
The worst company I have ever rented from, I am a National / Enterprise customer, I was only able to a rental car for 1 day through Hertz, Hertz charged $210 for 1 day rental for a full size and I ended up with a compact, Hertz would not modify the contract. What a horrible, price gouging, unprofessional rental company.
I booked a car at hertz. Showed up at the rental car center and there was an enormous line. 4 agents. Took us TWO HOURS to get a car. TWO HOURS!! They had no like for people with and without reservations in the same line. There were people at the counter for 20 minutes! Then there is another line after you get your car. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!
