Since, I never drive fast and hate patronizing interstates as much as root canal surgery, is there any free way to determine the shortest driving miles for a roadtrip?

    No idea what period, but I use it daily to see current traffic condition to decide my driving routes, which is extremely accurate up to the minute. I have practically unlimited data, can't use all 10G allowed each month, not even close. Tmobile. If you don't have unlimited data, you can swipe to close map, you don't need direction all the time.
