This company does nothing to satisfy or even try to help the customer when a reservation is completely screwed up due to their negligence. They just tell you to call Customer Support. It seems like the Customer Service Counter Rep does not want to deal with upset customers so they have them call someone else.
I went back to the AVIS microsite where I originally booked the car but couldn't find any button that allows me to cancel my reservation. I wrote an email to the address which sent me the original confirmation and got the auto-reply asking me to call the customer service. I called the customer service number which was French recorded msg.
