Effective June 16, 2014, the Alamo Insiders program will discontinue the complimentary additional driver option.
Alamo Question. 9 years ago. So, I booked an Alamo rental car through Costco. Then I called Alamo to see if they could add my Alamo Insider number to the reservation. The first person I talked to said she could not do it, but could transfer me to someone who could and she would give that person all of the information we discussed.

Answer 1 of 10: Just recieved this today ,it seems Alamo are going to discontinue the complimentary additional driver option on the 16th June ,so if your going to book car hire with more that 1 driver you would be advised to do it ASAP...
When I added the reservation to our Alamo Insiders account, it says we have 'Accelerated Check-in' but we are not able to 'Skip the Counter'. I called to ask about it and the agent said we couldn't skip the counter because we booked through a third party. Questions: 1. We previously booked Alamo through Costco and were able to skip the counter.
