    Call me old fashioned, but I find it easier to plan an itinerary using an actual paper road map, rather than Google maps or similar.     Re: Detailed road map for Canada. 4 years ago. There are hardly any roads in Banff and Jasper National Parks. They were protected as parks before there was much in the way of settlement and road building. Have a look at google maps (or any other online mapping app) - all the roads are shown.
