Mar 2, 2024, 8:45 AM. I’m in Italy now for 11+ weeks; I’m also an Xfinity mobile customer (great plan for the US!) and I’m doing exactly what Joe T describes: an eSIM for data, and WiFi, FaceTime and WhatsApp for phone calls. Way less expensive than the Xfinity global plan option of $10/day.
To contact xfinity mobile customer service, you can chat online with an agent (but first an AI bot) by opening the xfinity app or at xfinity.com while connected to WiFi. Type ‘live agent’ to get transferred to someone and prepare to be frustrated. Not a great use of vacation time IMO. Hope this helps. Good luck!
