How accurate is using GoogleTranslate app in Japan? 7 years ago. We will be spending over a week in Tokyo. We know that very little English is spoken there, so that will be a struggle. We downloaded the Google Translate app. It allows you to speak or type English to it and then it translates into Japanese on the screen and out loud.
I downloaded the google translate app as well as offline languages for both Spanish and Portuguese. I have been testing how it works and its not bad. However, I can't figure out how to switch the translation between the 2 different languages (i.e., English--Spanish or English-Portuguese). Anyone know how? This is on an android phone.
