   Costco milk is $4.69/gallon. Costco has had difficulty in gauging milk demand and I have sometimes found the expiration date on their in stock milk to be 4 or 5 days. Double check the expiration date of any milk you buy if you're going to buy enough for a week. Island Gourmet in Waikoloa Beach Resort is $6.99/gallon.

Rather than stay in Kailua Kona, suggest staying on the Kohala Coast for nice beaches, snorkelling and weather.
