   Likewise I always book with the hotel directly and last year saved a packet on hotels in San Fran and Vegas, cancelled the original booking in San Fran once and saved nearly $200 and cancelled 2 bookings the Paris Hotel in Vegas and save over $250, so I agree.

   If you need assistance with your hotel reservation, please call Expedia Customer Support at 1-877-787-5250 or 1-404-728-8787. Expedia, as pinktink03 points out, is a 3rd party with a set number of rooms, subject to hotel policies as outlined by the hotel. Both RS and Expedia are correct in what they told you.

   15 years ago. Save. Never use Expedia.com to makes reservations, it's a scam and hotel employes know about it even If they act like they don't. We had made a 2 day reservation through exedia.com but we decided we wanted to cancel our reservation for the secon day to go camping. "Conveniently" no cancelation policy could be found on Expedia.com.
