You can walk from one to the other, but taking a look at both addresses on a map, it's not exactly within a block or two. However, the approximately 12 block walk would be a straight walk North up Lasalle, which is right near your hotel.
1. Re: What sites are within walking distance of Times Square? 14 years ago. Central Park, Fifth Avenue, Rock Center, Bryant Park, NYC Public Library, Macy's/Herald Square, Empire State Building ... just to name some...but you can always do the hop on/off bus to get to places further downtown.

Maybe not in Toronto but in many European cities you'll notice Google gives walking directions that are very different then driving. They have to deal with pedestrian only zones and other short cuts.
