2. Re: Which Rental Car Companies Are Easiest at Airport. All car rental facilities at LAX are off-site, and you will need to take a shuttle from the terminal to get to one. I would stick with the major firms - Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Thrifty.

I'm struggling to get anything out of Avis other than them copying and pasting a pretty useless piece of "information" from their website. Last time through LAX (arriving in Tom Bradley terminal) we ended up walking nearly half a mile to T8 before we could find a Purple Zone where an Avis shuttle would actually stop for us.

Re: Which Rental Car Companies Are Easiest at Airport. 4 years ago. “ In order to take an Uber out of LAX you have to wait for a shuttle to LAX-it, then wait there for an Uber which you have to pay for, then travel to Enterprise. Can’t see it being that much quicker or cheaper.”.
74 reviews. 81 helpful votes. Enterprise rental car at LAX. 9 years ago. We need a car for 30 hours in LA close to New Year's Eve and prices are horrendous. So I am looking at booking through Costco, which has better prices but limited options. Avis is still $200+, but budget!
