I would check UPS, FEDEX and Deutsche Post. If you send the stuff as gift items, there is no problem with US customs. I am not sure what the current procedure is, but there is a way to ship the items so that you get a refund/don't get charged VAT (Value Added Tax) in Germany, which now is something like 26%.
