    Last time we were in Spain (2013) we used the Lebara SIM card (I think it used the Vodafone network) and were pretty pleased with it.     Re: SIM card purchase in Malaga airport or Malaga Center. Lebara and Lycamobile give away pay-as-you-go sim cards for free as long as you buy a top-up of 10€ or more. Both offer very similar rates so there's nothing to chose between them. Both networks have blue logo so look for that outside independent phone shops.

    Don't buy a Lebara Mobile SIM. 10 years ago. Lebara mobile might seem attractive, but they are a nightmare to deal with - especially if you're travelling from overseas into the UK. I bought a Lebara SIM because I had used Lebara in Spain, and it was very easy. But, in the UK, it chewed up all my credit in just a few days.
