    There's a lot less sand, which is where no-see-ums breed and feed, and there's always a constant breeze so they can't land and bite if there were any. We've visited the island many times before buying and the lack of bugs was a key reason behind our purchase. I've played both Blue Bay and Old Quarry many times and never had a problem with bugs.
