14 years ago. The rental cars for the on-airport rental companies: Alamo, National, Enterprise, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Thrifty etc are in the airport parking garage. When you step outside the doors from the car rental counters (level 1 of the terminal) there's a narrow oneway street that runs between there and the parking garage.

I think that Thrifty and Dollar are one and the same and share the facilities at MCO with vehicle collection and drop off in the parking lot opposite the terminal. I have heard comments that the on-site companies have a better selection of vehicle to allocate and off-site ...

Arrived at the desk, big queue then the guy tried to sell me everything - i said no. Got to the car, wasn't clean. Got to the hotel, checked paperwork - the guy had put $500 worth of stuff onto my bill ...
