If you look at the Brown Map of Cozumel, a map I first published on Cozumel in 1976, you can see clearly where the Cozumel Caribe, Playa Azul, and Cabanas del Caribe were located; Cabanas del Caribe on the north (just south of El Cozumeleno ), Playa Azul in the middle, and Cozumel Caribe to the south.

That hasn't happened and the owners have put a lot of money into the attached structure as part of the beach club and the Buccanos After Dark ...
