I've been looking for a car rental place in IAD (Washington Dulles) in July. kAlmost every single site has min-priced cars @ about $33 a day, but for some reason, Kayak.com has some cars at $15 a day. Has anyone ever dealt with them?

It shows prices on various web sites side by side but you actually rent the car through which ever other web site you choose. I use it to see possible prices and then book through one of the car web sites that seem reasonable.

   'I made the booking through Kayak, which (under the radar for the customer) handles the air ticket booking through Chatdeal.' This suggests you weren't fully aware of the booking process, but ignorance of the terms is no excuse - you're still bound by them having completed the purchase with (awful) Chatdeal.
