I settled with Travel Guard, an AIG product, rang them directly while open to the website, spoke to a Travel Guard agent who assisted me with the application over the phone, tweaked where I felt needed, paid by VISA at the same conversation. Ihave used them several times now. Never had to make a claim so I cannot speak to that.

To add on what BW stated above, we too looked on insuremytrip.com and found a GeoBlue policy that offered what we were looking for (COVID coverage, $100K medical each and $50K Medical evac each) and it was around $60 for the two of us.
Are you a travel agent? You refer to the client cancelling the trip and you cancelling the flights , so am not sure what is going on. Since the trip sounds like an expensive one,maybe an "adventure" trip, I wonder if you or the client simply purchased the insurance offered by the trip provider (say a company like Backroads or Country Walker).
