6 1. Reviewed January 1, 2013. Visit the Queen of Creole Cuisine. We met Chef Leah Chase shortly after Katrina, when local restauranteurs hosted a fund-raiser to help her rebuild Dooky Chase. On meeting Ms. Chase and her daughter Stella, we vowed to go to the restaurant when it re-opened. It is well worth the trip.
