You'll likely need to pay for uber/taxi from the place you return the car to your hotel and then take another from your hotel to the airport. That's going to be $30-$40 (guesstimate depending on what you take) at least with tip.

   The Hertz website says that you will find the car return area on Level 5 in the self-parking garage. "Please park the vehicle in the Hertz stalls on level 5 of the self parking and place the keys and the rental agreement completed with the mileage, fuel level and date/time of return in the key box located at the Hertz counter in the hotel lobby next to Special Events and Box Office desk."

   9 years ago. My thoughts on Hertz Rental is that I would not rent a car in Las Vegas. It will most likely sit in the parking lot most of the time, or even all of the time. It is really a pain to drive in Las Vegas and traffic on the strip is extremely bad. You want to be careful too if you drive, not to drink.

   31,600 posts. 4. Re: Car rental locations on strip. 14 years ago. Check Hertz (most of the Hertz hotels use them), Dollar ( the MGM/ Mirage property use them), Avis. Thrifty doesn't have a hotel desk and I am not sure Alamo does. Then go with whichever one is cheapest.
