Car rental companies have historically not accepted debit cards (or check cards), but now most will, with deposit restrictions. A hold on a debit card is like giving them cash.

   Excellent rental experience. I rented a vehicle from Ace in Orlando. We landed in Orlando late on Easter Sunday. The shuttle to the off-airport facility arrived promptly. There was only one agent in the offic.e because others had called in sick, and he worked very hard to service all the customers waiting to pick up cars.

In all honesty, ACE/Panoramic does not have a very good reputation. I have not used them personally, but if you do a search here and on other SXM forums, you'll see what I mean.

   ACE Rental showed up in a travelocity search and had the lowest price for a van so I rented it online. It took two hours to leave Las Vegas airport, bus to the rental terminal, find out ACE is located several miles way, get on their shuttle, then have my wife and kids sit in an un air conditioned garage for almost an hour to rent a beat up van in what reminded me of a third world DMV.

   Reserved a car through Expedia $200 total for the 4 day rental. Got to the counter and they said they didn’t have a car I reserved. I would have to wait two hours “for the cars to come in” but I could take an upgrade for an additional 49.95 a day. Which made my rental go to $495 almost $300 more.

   Ace rent a car refuses to answer phone calls and all other correspondence. The charge for $317.77 (for a $40 car rental) was refunded. On June 5. 2022, I received a credit report notification that Allied Collection SE has an account for $319.00. I feel this is harassment and unfair to try to ruin my credit!!!!
