The base rates are either the same or better than the actual cruiseline online rates, PLUS they usually give onboard credits that tend to work out to around 8% discount. We have booked numerous cruises (10+) through Costco. We have never had a problem. We always call Costco Travel. The price is cheaper than the cruise lines' quoted price, plus you get a shipboard credit both from Costco and from the cruise line. The agents are very professional, helpful and patient. We have never had a bad agent.
