We arrived in London on April 12, and decided to use our Capital One Venture One Visa credit cards (contactless ) exclusively for our current trip. They have worked flawlessly, not one problem. 6 years ago. My U.S. Citibank Costco-branded credit card has the "wave" symbol on it, which I think means it can be used for contactless tap and pay. However, a Citi customer service rep told me yesterday that the "wave" symbol only means that I can load the card in my Apple Wallet app and use the card as an Apple Pay method.

Costco is usually the least expensive gas in this area by far. Of, course, since I'm filling up, I will usually go inside to see what's what.
