Although the sticker is only $5, you may or may not get it off the windshield. The portable transponder with the suction cups is going to cost more than the $19.75 maximum admin fees charged by rental's toll program. If you plan on returning to Florida, I would get a portable transponder.
3 years ago. Honestly I think I’d rather go on foot than rent from Budget ever again. We’ve been burned by them and their “Fast Break” service twice in less than 6 months at MCO. When we were there at Easter we rented from Enterprise and when we passed the Budget counter at midnight there were at least 150 people in line.

15 years ago. Thanks to a tip on Mousesavers for rental car codes, I stumbled on a Walmart coupon code for Budget. Mousesavers said the code is for Walmart customers (ie everyone) and didn't list any other stipulations. Anyhow, without the code, total cost for an intermediate car is $269. With the Walmart code, the cost is an amazing $155.

Tons of codes on Mousesavers.com. Go under transportation info, then under the rental car info, it gives codes for most rental companies at the airport. I just used one for Budget and saved alot. I think it was the Walmart code. I got a Red Mustang for 10 days for $276. that was with all taxes included.
