    You can easily get around downtown Austin and get to and around San Antonio without using toll roads. If you're using google maps, you can use the "avoid tolls" option and it will give you directions that do not use toll roads. If you see directions that take you on 130, 45, or Loop 1/Mo-Pac, know that those are toll roads.
