The car was fine but wanted to warn people of a deceptive policy that robs money from you. They quote their rentals in American dollars. Our 8 day rental came to $455.

The customer is only responsible for the following amounts: 20% deductible for the first 50,000 USD for material damages, with a minimum of 600.00 USD.
Additional driver was very reasonable compared to many other companies and parts of the world - $5 per day. The rate included the compulsory third party insurance. The local Sixt office responded quickly to emails, and confirmed they would accept our AMEX car rental insurance and would not force us to take CDW etc.
