    Where there are lots of pics along a beach, Google Maps has previously joined these together into a blue line - a sort of faux street view. That appears to have gone. It’s now just blue dots.     A warning of caution using Google maps. You do need to carefully check spelling of place names. For example, Mangonui in the Far North is not spelt Manganui.
