1. Re: Route 70 east/west across Fla is it now 4 lanes. 4 years ago. It is four lane from Fort Pierce to Okeechobee. Almost all the rest is two lane. Okeechobee has the usual fast food places and gas stations. The junction with US 27 has two gas stations with coffee, drinks, and limited food. The one on the north side seems to have better coffee.

My Google has me exiting at Exit 3B and merge onto I-70 W. My AAA has me exiting at Exit 7 onto I-255N.and has me merging onto I-270W north of St.Louis before taking exit 20A-B to merge onto I-70W. It looks like the Google Map way is the most direct but it has me going through the city more.
