As far as I know, Hertz does not charge for emergency roadside assistance. The phone number to call for that is printed right on the outside of the envelope that they hand the renter at pick up, which contains your contract. The general customer service phone number is printed there as well, which you would use if you wanted to extend your rental.

Answer 11 of 19: I sent Hertz at Denver International Airport an e-mail inquiry about a charge that was added to my bill upon my returning it. To date - 2+ weeks later - I have not yet gotten a reply.
