It is impossible to contact a human being at Hopper, unfortunately. I have been trying to cancel 4 flights (scheduled over the next few months). Have sent multiple cancellation requests to Hopper and have filled out the Hopper cancellation form multiple times. No response whatsoever from Hopper.

Yes, in theory you can travel overland from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado in the Peruvian Amazon and then in to Brazil from there. My guidebook says it is possible, but not recommended, but doesn't say why it isn't.
