  2. Has anyone used Costco travel for Italy? - Rome Forum

We used Costco to travel to London last year and it was very good, a good value. Not so much in Italy. We are planning a trip in early October - 4 days in Rome, 4 days in Florence. I'm figuring $200/night looks about right as a base rate. The good part of Costco is convenience and they do stand behind their services.

Sounds pretty simple. I am looking at the London, Paris, and Rome package. it seems to be a pretty good deal after I changed the hotels. I priced everything else separately on other sites, travelocity and seat 61, and Costco seems like the better deal. Any reasons I would not want to go with Costco travel?

14 years ago. Here the way I see it assuming that you are getting a 9 day/8 night tour. Meals are extra in either case (independent or tour) except breakfasts. a) you can go on from JFK to Rome (FCO) and back from Paris (CDG) for $700-750 pp ($1500 for 2) in Feb. JFK-FCO-JFK on Alitalia is slightly cheaper.

  6. Has anyone booked a Spain package through Costco ...

Before we book, would like to know if anyone else has used the Costco Travel Service to this destination. The trip includes r/t flights from Seattle, 3-4 star hotels and first class train passage. We would be on our own to see and do what we like in each city. The price seemed fair wanted to know if anyone has to say about their travel service.

  7. Opinions on this travel package? Costco route or individual?

My wife and I are doing two weeks for roughly $3500 (not counting trinkets, nick-knacks, gas, or meals after breakfast). $1600 in flights. $500 in car rentals (small automatic for 10 days + full coverage) $1400 in B&Bs (average of $100/night). For 8-10 days you could cut that down to ~ $2900 and then the daily expenses.
