Wyndham fraud/scam. 6 years ago. We have friends that are in the Wyndham club who asked us if we wanted to go on a short trip with them to Tennessee because they had an extra room. Our friends would be attending a owner's meeting during the stay and we had been "invited" to attend a presentation and receive a visa gift card.
Re: Urgent help please Is this a scam fine letter ? 1 year ago. If it's a fine for driving in Italy and you were driving on the dates the fine claims you made the infraction then it's not a scam. The authorities have up to 18 months to mail the fine to you so pay within 5 days to get the discounted price. After that you pay the regular price.
It is obviously a scam and I have ignored it. It then occurred to me that had someone actually made a reservation with that hotel (there are several dotted around) they might be tempted to respond. For all I know, there could be a lot of emails flying around, stating any number of hotels.
