   Beware!!! They do not show you the genuine room rate. If they tell you that you get a 30% discount, it doesn't mean that you pay 30% off the original rate. Instead, they compute a "fair rate" by comparing similar offers in the neighborhood (similar star rating and other factors). They call it a "Crossed-out Rate".

I had an existing rental at Enterprise for about 6 months. 2 weeks before the trip I got the Hotwire deal and saved about $30 for the 10 days.

I'm sure there are lots more options, but found these to be the best.
