I had a QR code for me and added my wife. So two people, one code. At immigration they insisted one person, one code. So had to fill out a paper form for my wife. Then at customs, even though the forms say one per family, my code would not work for her. Do not have any advise, just passing along my experience.

It is the square mosaic of black squares and it carries maybe as much as 1,000 times more information than an old bar code. I now see that the QR code on the Trenord paper or .pdf ticket has the "PNR number" above it.
