Of the different companies to choose from, don't bother with Fox Car Rental. They get you in the door with their cheaper rates but somehow the prices skyrocket upon return. I should've trusted reviews but didn't, and got burned a couple of months ago. Edited: 13 years ago
954. Re: Fox rent a car. 1 year ago. I would not recommend using them. They billed me for double the original invoice I signed at the counter. I used the one at the airport in San Jose, Ca. I returned the car half an hour early on the due date of 2/10. They sent me an invoice on 2/13 showing 2/13 as my return date.

I had a similar experience,I booked a car for $260 all inclusive and they made me pay $450 for incidentals which would be refunded after I return the car but to my surprise they charges $432 and I am still waiting for the $18 refund .Never will go back to them .
The rental was at the lowest cost of any SLC car rental (probably because the van had 47K miles on it). 2. The shuttle from the airport to the offsite agency was very prompt. 3. Drop off was a breeze. 4. There were 3 other parties in front of me at pickup, and it only took 20-25 minutes to get on the road.
