If insurance was included in your booking, then it should have been reflected on the booking - you should have had something to show that insurance was included.
On a different note, I rented a Hertz for 3 weeks, had an issue and tried numerous ways to contact Hertz. Emails, Facebook, direct to rental/return locations, even phone (apart from the emergency number). Now a month later and STILL waiting to hear from Hertz. Hertz customer service is non-existent in Europe.

You would think Hertz would know about this restriction for travelers from USA. Attempted to call Hertz customer service for assistance ….. not one phone number worked.
