Review of Verde Canyon Railroad. Reviewed March 12, 2024 via mobile. I have ridden on the Verde Canyon Railroad multiple times since it first began and always enjoyed the trip. This time however, the personal touch just isn't there. You have to listen to an overly loud automated narrative that is not remotely synced to the scenery.
This is a very relaxing train ride through the Verde canyon with beautiful views. Throughout the train ride, an overhead speaker shares informative facts about the terrain and history of this area. As well, there are personal guides in each section of the train which do the same. I thought it was interesting and a very personal experience.
