So for instance in the corner of my booking screen is a 'gold members' button and when I click on that and click through 'overview' and 'value' it says "Hertz Gold Plus Rewards members: Enjoy members’ only discounts; Pay no additional driver fees for a spouse or domestic partner"
HOWEVER, again, details: considering the annual fee and the dollar-cost-average, I would need to take about 80-85 vacations to break-even on the deal; I'm nearly 50 and won't travelling 20-30 weeks per year when I retire, so for us, it doesn't seem to make sense (even if I can pass it to my kids).
6 years ago. Update: I got the email back from hertz uk, confirming that spouse as additional driver fee is waived for Gold plus members as long as you make the reservation on hertz website. This is good news because the additional driver fee can add up pretty quick.

I plan to hire a car for1 day on Sept 21 -2023 to do a quick drive around the island and stop at a few our favourite places - Sandy beach for a swim , Kalapawai market for lunch then ( hopefully ) a short stop at the Premium Outlets.
