6 years ago. Honestly driving in Tokyo isn't exciting AT ALL. To drive 5 kms takes anywhere between 10-25 minutes and that's in suburban Tokyo, let alone inner city Tokyo. At 10pm at night. Try to avoid the Tokyo metro as it can be really confusing. Study the roads you intend to drive on before you go on your trip.

It's a drama and that is showing how friendly the characters are in that drama but one of my British acquaintances was a huge fan of a bar close to Tokyo Station just behind Tokyo Book Center and I recently found that he even wrote a TA review.
