10 years ago. There is now a blue shuttle bus at Logan for all rental cars. They appear to arrive about every 5 seconds when you are waiting for the blue economy parking bus. I also meant to add that the tolls themselves are cheaper when you use EZ Pass. For instance, the toll from Logan Airport to Newton is $1.50 with a Massachusetts EZ Pass, $1.75 with an EZ Pass issued by another state, and $2.05 if you have no transponder and are billed by mail. I've rented from Budget a number of times since I used to travel to Boston on business one a month for over a year. I would not call it a 'foul practice' but rather a leanirng experience.
