   Cruise Parking. Review of Port of Galveston. Reviewed January 5, 2018 via mobile. The embarkation went very smoothly. Thus was our first cruise. I paid for the parking on-line prior to arrival. We dropped our bags by the front and proceeded to Lot A. The parking lot is very close. They have a shuttle, but we opted to walk back to the check in area.

We come in a day early, stay at the Hilton, and they allow you to park for free in a well lit and secure parking area.. Also provide a shuttle to and from the cruise port. No experience with any independent cruise parking facilities.

   1. Re: Cruises from Galveston and Parking. Plenty of secure parking at the cruise port and many of the Galveston hotels will secure your vehicle and shuttle you to the port while staying pre or post cruise. We stay at the Hilton, a nice property about 15 minutes from the port.

But because it's winter time. All of the snowbirds probably already came and took all the spots. But you could call and ask.
