I've always had excellent service from Hertz at YVR, and there is a Hertz location right at YEG. Avis, National & Enterprise are also located on-site at YEG. One way rentals, which will as noted, incur a drop fee, are almost always done airport to airport.
Answer 1 of 10: Sorry to bother, but I need expertise. I'm renting a car at the airport and understand that some car rental companies have counters and cars right at the airport, but that some require a shuttle ride to the cars.
1) no idea. 2) the "lots" are in the parking garage across the road/bridge from the arrivals area. The check in counters are in the same area. So the longer walk would be to get to the Rental counters; might be a good idea to ask for assistance.
I am a Hertz Gold member and use Hertz almost exclusively, wherever I travel. I have used Hertz at YVR many times over the years - last one was about 6 weeks ago. Always prompt, professional and no hassles either on pick-up or return. Highly recommended.
