As noted Google Flights isn't an OTA, they just link you to the airlines or OTAs to buy the ticket.. The fare rules are set by the airline offering the fare. Looking at the screenshot, this looks like an AA fare so the difference between Basic Economy and Main Cabin with respect to changing dates/itinerary is that with Basic Economy you can't make any changes, and with Main Cabin you can make ...

The DOT has no control if you buy your ticket from any 3rd party ticket. As to trip dot com. I think you will find most booking sites will charge a fee (50.00 to 200.00) to process almost anything this does include canceling before 24 hours has passed. You would pay this even if you cancel just 2 minutes after you book.

Stefan C. 1 post. Just a word of warning about Flighthub. 2 years ago. I bought two tickets through Flighthub last month as they were slightly less expensive than on the actual airline website). Should have realized there's something suspicious about it, but I guess I got greedy and ended up paying for it through the nose.

  5. No Show fee vs. cancelling? - Air Travel Forum - Tripadvisor

    www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g1-i10702-k...

No show fees or cancellation fees are only relevant if you are trying to get the airline to refund or provide credit against future flights in respect of the journey you didn't make. They deduct the fees from any amount you might otherwise receive. As the OP isn't asking for a refund or credit voucher, the airline won't apply any fees. Indeed ...

    2. Re: Eva Air Basic Economy after 24 hours cancellation policy. 1 year ago. I read and in general, basic economy fare charge $200 regarding cancellation fee. I just like to make sure there's no other cancellation policies that am not aware of so if in case of cancellation, I can get the refund without losing the entire ticket fare.

I had booked a flight PORTO-MAD with Air Europa. fare type FLEX. The fare conditions were "Your fare. Economy Flex. Economy cabin. 2 pieces on cabin: 1 baggage 55x35x25cm - 10 kg. 1 Under-seat bag. 1 × 23 kg item in the hold. Changes allowed without penalty. Cancellation allowed with penalty"

Whether you made a mistake or changed your mind, you can cancel your flight within 24 hours of purchase without penalty so you have more flexibility in making travel plans. That seems fairly simple. But, the process probably wont be as easy with Travelocity as it would be with the airline.

  9. Wizzair 24 hour cancellation period. - Air Travel Forum

    www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g1-i10702-k...

They didn’t find it on the Wizzair site. They googled it and probably found some unreliable sources that state there’s a 24hr cancellation period which are not accurate. The DOT rules don’t apply in the U.K. The OP hasn’t provided a link to where they claim they saw it on the Wizzair website.
