We used the toll road (which was advertised) heading north from Auckland stopped by the local service station and bought two tickets (up and back) registering our number plate and had no issues. Why would you use the toll road and expect not to pay Simon?. Lesson learnt pay the fine and be done with it. You will certainly remember next time.

Their 800 number reps will not give it out and the contact I have and online only have their national #s (877) 283-0898 + 800 THRIFTY.
